Huntington Beach Halloween Fest 2010 in Downtown HB
Move over Bella Terra. Don’t look now, Seacliff Shopping Center. The king of the Halloween events in Huntington Beach falls on a Sunday this year, which means mega-fun, big crowds, and happy people celebrating in Downtown HB. The day begins around 4 p.m. with Trick or Treat on Main & 5th Streets. Inflatables, pony rides and petting zoo add to the mix. Then at 5 p.m. the Canine Contest returns for its 2nd year of hilarious fun. Bring your pooch in a costume to participate in the doggy showdown. At 6 p.m. the kids costume contest is held, with merchants donating gifts that will be awarded as prizes for best “digs”.
Street closures begin earlier in the day and the event is held (for mapping purposes) at 200 Main Street, Huntington Beach, CA 92648. The event is free.
