The Irishman Bar Opens In Time for St. Patty’s Day

The Irishman, 424 Olive Ave., Huntington Beach, CA  (714) 536-6776  Hours: 11a-11p  theirishmanpub.com

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIF. — Everybody remembers the wine bar on the corner of Olive & Walnut, right? It was called Deville’s, and was run by the wife co-owner of Beachfront 301. Before that it was Jersey Joe’s (Joe Carchio). Well now it has transferred ownership and has become the top-ranked Irish bar in Huntington Beach–in just a few short weeks! Will the love affair fade or is this bar really THAT great?

Here’s are some web postings about the new establishment in downtown Huntington Beach:

Awesome place! Great crowd and love the music. My new hang out. Misty opens at 11am and she makes an awesome mix for Bloody Marys and Whiskey Marys !! Homemade sausage rolls and Mac n Cheese. Come join us for our 2nd ever Sunday Funday , suntrap Patio !! Photo: Misty opens at 11am and she makes an awesome mix for Bloody Marys and Whiskey Marys !! Homemade sausage rolls and Mac n Cheese. Come join us for our 2nd ever Sunday Funday , suntrap Patio !!   Best pint of Guinness in America Congratulations to Ray Harnett on the opening of his pub The Irishman at the NW corner of 5th and Olive off Main Street in Huntington Beach across from the Surf Museum.  This is really something Ray! I can’t believe you have your own pub. Thats almost worth a flightticket over the Atlantic… Wish you all the best! Prohibition is almost coming to an end on 5th and Olive !!

Ray Harnett has worked hard to get the new place open….”Thank you so much to everyone who came to see us over the last few days..the staff done an amazing job and the customers were all so nice…we could hardly keep up at some stages due to the turnout and had to get in more booze and food !! Thanks again for an unforgettable first few days !! ”

Have been working hard on remodel , license transfer of course taking longer than should but we are in good shape now :)and hope to be open by March 1st…Thank you for your interest. First Batch of “The Irishman” t-shirts and tank tops are ready.
